The Medusa Code
by Inge Snip
I spent nearly two decades as a journalist, often covering stories that felt like they belonged in dystopian fiction — only they were real. Over time, I realized the lines between fiction and reality weren’t as clear as I thought. The tools I used to investigate power, oppression, and resistance started showing up in the stories I wanted to write.
Now, I write speculative fiction that pulls from that same place: the systems we live under, the myths we’re told, and the quiet rebellions happening underneath. My work leans toward feminist dystopia, psychological thrillers, and near-future scenarios. Not because I want to predict the future, but because I want to understand how we’re shaping it.
This space is where I explore those ideas, through fiction and reflection. It’s where I make sense of the chaos, ask the questions journalism didn’t always have room for, and imagine what justice could look like when the old rules no longer apply.
